INTERACT Trainee Summit Recap

In May 2019, the team at INTERACT gathered in Saskatoon for an intensive workshop sessions covering everything from coding to writing, getting published.

The purpose of the Summit was to provide an opportunity for trainees to meet in person, develop and refine their skills, and contribute their expertise. Here’s a recap of those 3 days through photos:

Day 1

7:00 Energize // River Run

8:30–10:30 // Welcome Elevator pitch and work plan

11:00 // Guided onboarding for Compute Canada, R, Github, spatial analysis

Throughout the summit, our team of experts was on hand to work through method questions and help advance work plans. Trainees were encouraged to talk to every mentor by the end of the summit. Our experts:

Daniel Fuller led a presentation on difference in differences analysis in R.
